Welcome to Zoe's Garden

2011 WINTER CSA Subscriptions are now available here.

For the first time, Zoe's Garden is offering a WINTER CSA - and also, for the first time, we are offering sustainable meats as an add-on option to the CSA share. The season will be 20 weeks long, from Oct 11, 2011 to Feb 22, 2011. If you're catching us late, don't worry, you can still sign up.

The two winter shares available will be a "vegetarian" box with the same price structure as our summer Small share ($35/week) - and a "sustainable meats" box that will include the same produce as the vegetarian box, but also include sustainably raised grass fed meat for $15 more than the vegetarian box ($50/week).

Here's what you can expect in your winter share:

  • Pasture-Raised beef and lamb, ground and roast (meat shares only)
  • Fall storage crops such as potatoes, onions, beets, a wide variety of winter squash, turnips, cabbage, garlic, shallots, apples, pears, Asian pears, frozen berries and peaches, and fruit and berry preserves
  • Fresh vegetables that don't mind cool weather, such as kale, broccoli, chard, mustard, kohlrabi, mixed salad greens, spinach, brussel sprouts, microgreens, and probably even tomatoes, summer squash, and eggplants (at least through the end of the fall)

Drop locations available for the winter CSA are Holladay, Ogden, Park City and Salt Lake. Click here for more information regarding the drop locations.

We're really excited to be using our new Farmigo CSA management system. The process should be far easier than prior years! You can log in, review your account (it will show you what you signed up for, how much you've already paid), and you can also make a payment by e-check (ACH). We are offering multiple payment options, making it easier for people to spread out the cost of membership.

Our purpose is to provide the freshest naturally grown produce possible by delivering it to our local members within a day of picking. Become a member and taste the difference! (2010 brochure).
