Here's what our shareholders have to say about our produce.

(2009) We have really enjoyed this csa and the variety of produce that we are getting. A lot is new to us but we love the challenge of finding out how to use it. Thank you for your time and the work you put into this. Please thank those around you who help out. We really appreciate it.

(2009) I continue to be impressed with the excellent quality of the produce The herbs are so intense. When I've read recipes that use one tsp or so of an herb, I usually have to quadriple the amount. Now I understand that herbs must have tasted like Zoe's herbs when those recipes were written!
I particularly have loved the fruit and yellow sunsweet tomatoes.
I very much enjoy eating all the new greens. Sometimes so many are so bitter, however, that I have a real challenge as to how to cook and eat all of them. It would be nice to have more greens that are "sweet". But I do enjoy the educational experience of eating new produce that is rare. One thing I do is steam or microwave or boil (trying salt, vinegar, baking soda, soaking to get the bitterness out) and eat with a drizzle of your awesome honey.
I am on a very restricted fat/cholesterol diet so the recipes I create are limited. But I love cutting up the herbs and mixing them into mashed tofu or mashed tofu with some miso; into Greek yogurt (great with mint and artificial sweetener or sugar); pureed cooked pea "guacamole" with garlic or onion; or mint; and a version of skordalia with bread, cooked potato, in cuisinart with liquids and lots of herbs. These are all great dips. The herbs also lend themselves to new spins on vichyssoise. And hey, what's cooler than dipping snow peas and sugar snap peas into a dip made from English peas?????

(2009) This is EXCELLENT!! Much more than I expected. Many thanks. And the scapes are terrific! Greens tonight.

(2009) WOW! It is stunning and beautiful and tasty. I dropped off some at a friend's house on the way home, just parked in front and opened the bags and chewed right out of the bags to sample and see what I wanted to give them. Just stood there like a cow eating out of my backseat. AWESOME! I am so glad I subscribed and that I got the big order.

(2009) Thank you for the exposure to scapes. Sauteed in butter and added to scrambled eggs this morning. Delish! Also the spinach is probably the best I've ever had. Great flavor!

(2008 season) I've only been a member for a few weeks, but I have loved it! Thanks for all you do.

(2008 season) Just wanted you to know that the watermelon you included in the share... was the most amazing I've ever had! Sweet and perfect in every way!

(2008 season) "This is my first year getting a share from you and I have to say that I have been very pleased. If it was better last year than those people should consider themselves very lucky. I am a peach fanatic and I will eat a peach no matter what it looks like!

Thanks for all you are doing,
a very happy member"

(2008 season) "I am the chef at the Washington School Inn on Park Ave here in Park City. I have been a big supporter of this farmers market since moving to the area 3 years ago. Last year the Inn joined a CSA run by Zoes Garden. I have used CSA's before and i must say that Zoe's is the best one i have ever used - great variety of produce, great quality, price, and picking up our box at the Farmer's Market was a great way to support the other vendors at the Market. We even started cooking classes last summer specifically designed to teach people about the benefits of buying locally, and cooking and eating seasonally and sustainably."
- Chef Steve Vierk: Washington School Inn

"(In 2007) ...I joined three CSAs located in northern Utah in order to compare offerings.  Each has a very different character.   I found that because of the difference in the goals of each CSA, membership should be chosen based on one’s needs.  Zoe’s Garden has consistently provided the widest range of prime vegetables.  Every week has been a journey of discovery of new fruit and vegetable varieties and always of picture perfect quality.  The box I pick up each week provides sufficient variety and quantities that one really needn’t go shopping to supplement the produce. I think anyone who eats three to five fruits and vegetables daily, or anyone who wishes to expand their palate of vegetable offerings, would do well choosing Zoe’s Garden."  - Rachael Crary, Ogden

"I just want to take a moment to tell you how much I have been enjoying the beautiful vegetables in my share--they just keep getting better every week. I lay them out on the counter when I get them home, and sometimes I don't even want to put them away because they are so lovely to look at! We have eaten healthier and cooked more creatively this summer than ever in our lives, and I appreciate so much that you have made this possible! What you are doing is such important work for the community and environment." - Natasha Lloyd, Tollgate Canyon

"Love you guys, love your produce, you are a treasure! Not only do you get fresh, beautiful, organic, local, seasonal produce, but you also receive the service of being educated about what you are receiving in your share, like what those miracles of nature that look like small aliens from outer space are, (kohlrabi), and also what to do with them, by having them send you delicious, creative recipes that are "OUT OF THIS WORLD"!! If you really want to get to know your local vegetables and discover a new connection to your food, go green and organic with Zoe's Garden" - Cynthia Wand--Transformational Coach - www.livingtheheartlife.com
Sandy, Utah

"I'm loving this.  I am forced to eat healthier.  I ate pretty good anyway, but now I'm really jamming - and it's great." - Evelyn Terranova, Heber City

"I LOVE OUR CSA!!!  Thank you so much for making it happen.  We are healthier because of you!  (And I've learned canning -- Apricot jam -- and how to make a apricot & cherry cobbler...)" - Diane Murphy, Tollgate Canyon
